Reflection by Jessica Roberts Blog Tour Stop

Bright, spunky Heather Robbins has escaped her small hometown and is anxiously beginning her freshman year of college. Rising above her rocky childhood, she’s found a place where good things are finally starting to happen: her own private apartment, refreshing college classes, and an intense attachment to a mysterious and rugged classmate, Nick Richards.

But when her dreamy college life turns out to be nothing more than a wonderful dream while resting in a coma, questions threaten.

Now, Heather must press forward to unlock the real past, and find the answers buried deep in her mind. What she unlocks instead is a roller coaster ride through flashbacks, embellished memories, and a whirlwind romance.

And when it’s all over and she comes face to face with the truth, will she lose everything she’s fallen in love with?

MY REVIEW

5 OF 5 REFLECTIONS

Reflection is one of those books that captures you right from the beginning. I love a story that starts out slow and works it way up into the major plot. I want to thank YA Bound for allowing me to be on this tour. Had it not been for this tour I would have missed out on a fantastic read!

Heather has started her freshmen year of college. She is excited to leave her home and start a fresh start at college. She has everything a college freshmen could want and need. She even has a great boyfriend fellow classmate Nick. Then tragedy strikes and Heather is in an accident that leaves her in a come for over two years.

While in a coma we get to see life the way she sees it and when she wakes up the reality sets in and her world unravels. Can you imagine being in a coma for over two years and the entire time you think you are up and alive living a life that in fact never happened? Well that is what happened to Heather and she must figure out what is fact or fiction before the dust settles and the truth sets in.

Reflection is one of those reads that grabs you and holds you until the end. You stay right there in Heather's world like you are living it and when reality hits you that it was all just a dream and people have moved on and you have to learn to relive life it can really scare you. I can't wait to read book two. I so need to see what has really really happened and how Heather is going to move on when she has been living her own life in her head.
