My Review:

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the first book I have read in the series and I am totally kicking myself in the arse because WOWZER what an amazing book and the De Vincent brother's are hot as hell and loyal and dedicated and everything in between. I LOVED Rosie and Devlin they really made this book what it was and I could not get enough I needed more because I did not want it to end.

Rosie is such a sweetheart and she is a ghost hunter! I love how she did everything she had to do to help find out what happened to her friend and along the way she discovered things that she never knew and that Devlin was afraid she would find out and hate him but that was not the case.

This is the ending to the series and I will be reading it again because I am going to read from book one all the way through to the end to see what I have missed. I need to know who the De Vincent brother's are. So go on and one click this series and go on an adventure of a lifetime! You will not regret it or be disappointed.

My Review:

My.... My..... My.... and HOLY SHIZ is what I said after I read this story. I needed more from this novella because let me tell you I loved Riser. Riser is a big badarse alpha male that will protect whoever needs to be protected. I felt bad for Laney and her daughter though because abuse is NEVER ever okay but to be abused and then have to go on the run with your child and have to change your whole life is scary but that is Laney's life and she does what she has to in order to protect herself and her daughter.

Once Riser finds out that Laney needs help he is there for her and her daughter. They go through so much but Riser is determined to protect her and keep her safe from her crazy ex-husband. The bullets will fly and the suspense will have you reading like a mad person until the end and once you get there you will need more because Riser is the man! So go ahead and one click this one because it is the BOMB!

My Review:

This is the first book I have read by these authors and I tell you it will not be the last. I loved every moment of this book and I loved Oskar and Hailey. They are an incredible together and watching their story unfold was amazing! I love a good sexy arse alpha who knows what he wants and is not afraid to go after it and I love a good geeky girl who knows what she wants and is willing to sacrifice that to get what she needs.

I have to say that Oskar and Hailey are complete opposites but they make it work. Oskar and Hailey share a wonderful time in Vegas and when it is all done they part but with a big surprise to both of them. Then time goes by and their lives go on when all of a sudden Hailey's father hires a security company to protect his daughter who is being stalked.

When Oskar gets his next job he is okay with it until he sees who it is. He can't believe the one woman he can't get out of his mind is the one he will be protecting. Oskar is determined in that moment that he will not only protect her but he will win her heart and she will finally become his.

I loved the suspense in this story but I will say that I almost broke my kindle with that ending! I was like no oh hell no this is not the ending. I know it is a duet but still the ending was just cruel oh so cruel! So go on and one click it and enjoy the greatest journey you will ever go on!

First I have to say that I LOVED TO HATE this book because Lord have mercy the characters had me on the edge of seat yelling and screaming at my kindle. So much so my daughter asked me if the book was good or bad and I laughed and told her both. I can't really explain it without spoiling it but I will say this that Austin could be the biggest ARSEHOLE and Rachel when she wanted to could be the biggest BIATCH!

Austin didn't have a good life growing up. His father was locked up in prison and he was made responsible for his three younger brothers. They grow up and build this kick arse business and the boys are doing good for themselves but then one day Austin gets some bad news and his life is turned upside down. Not knowing what to do Austin decides to go to his friends cabin and relax and try to think things through. But instead he gets drunk and wakes up not knowing where he is and sees a gorgeous woman that he doesn't know but he wants to get to know her.

Rachel is a single mother who is just trying to take care of her son and her mother who is disabled. She works as a maid to make money to support her family she does not have time for any shenanigans or bad boy guys but she takes one look at Austin and she wants him. They soon find out they are snowed in and their chemistry is off the chart and things happen but can it last or is the bad boy going to stay bad?

I’d just straightened up the pile of mats when a scraping sound caught my attention. Raising the blinds, I looked out the window and saw Rachel standing in the middle of the road, shovel in hand, pushing the snow into big piles. She’d got about ten feet of road cleared in addition to her car.
Did she really think she could plow the fucking road between here and the highway? It was miles of road!

“Son of a bitch.” I ran out of the room. Three steps later, I almost tripped over Blue in the hallway. He’d taken up a post between me and the doorway, almost like he couldn’t decide who he should be guarding. “Hey, boy. You okay?”
Blue sat up with a whine and swung his head toward the front door.

“Yeah, I think we gotta talk some sense in her. She can’t plow the fucking road all by herself. Come on.” I grabbed my coat next to the door and pulled it on over my naked chest. My shirt was balled up somewhere in Cole’s home gym. I shoved my bare feet into my boots next to the door and half-assedly laced them up. Blue whined next to me, urging me to hurry. I ripped open the door, and Blue bounded out, with me close on his heels.

“What the hell are you doing, woman!” I shouted before I met up with Rachel.
She glanced at me then bent down to pet Blue. “What does it look like?”

“It looks like you’re fucking insane. You do know there’s like five miles of road between us and the highway, right? Are you planning on plowing the whole fucking thing by hand?”
“I have to do something!” Rachel waved an agitated hand as she stood back up to face me. “I can’t just sit here and wait for someone to call or show up. I have people waiting on me—my family is counting on me.”

“You think I don’t know that? You think the same fucking thing isn’t happening to me right now? I was supposed to be at work today too. Our scariest fucking client is expecting a bike delivery today, and I’m not gonna be there to stand between him and my brother. That’s my job! That’s what I’ve done my whole life, and today I’m not gonna be there. I won’t be there to protect him.”

Rachel stared back at me with wide eyes, and her mouth opened and closed like a fish.
I sighed as some of my anger melted away at Rachel’s bewilderment.

I hadn’t meant to reveal so much. My shit was my shit. No one else needed to know what was really going on in my life—least of all a piece of ass I’d hooked up with for a night. I just had so much anger pent up. Booze hadn’t helped. Exercise hadn’t helped. Really the only thing that’d worked was when I had her naked and under me, but that’d never happen again.

I needed to get my shit under control.
“Look, I’m sorry, okay?” I reached over and gently took the snow shovel out of her hands. “We all have shit—that’s all I’m saying. Well, that, and there’s no way either of us is going to be able to dig our way out of this mess. There’s too much road between us and the highway. It’s dangerous. We’re better off waiting until the plow comes. I don’t know where the hell Cole’s business manager is, but he still hasn’t called me back. If you’d like, I can call around and see if I can find another service.”

Rachel bit her lip and looked down the long, snow-covered road, her brow wrinkled.
“I’ll even pay.”

Rachel’s eyes shot to mine. “It’s not the money that’s bothering me. Well, it is, ‘cause I can’t afford it, but I’m worried about the weather. There’s supposed to be another system moving in this afternoon. If we can’t get out of here by noon, I doubt you’ll find another outfit willing to come out in the middle of another storm. We could be trapped here overnight again.”

I nodded slowly. “I’ll get on the horn and see if we can get you home to your little boy sooner than later.”
