I have to say that I really loved this book. It had everything in it that I love to read.

Zander is a Hollywood actor and in the prime of his career when he is in an accident and is charged with DUI. His career is at stake and he must do something to win the world over again as a good guy not a bad guy. Then his manager has an idea that will put Zander back in the lime light. His manager comes up with a plan that Zander will do a four-day reality TV adventure led by renowned survivalist Rykon Hawke.

At first Zander thinks it is crazy but then his manager convinces him to do it. That's where Charlie comes in. She and her best friend enter the contest and when her best friend wins she is so happy but she is sick and can't make the trip. That is when her best friend asks Charlie to take her place. At first Charlie says no but then she changes her mind and decides to do the trip.

As Zander and Charlie meet Charlie is not happy because she hates Zander and what he did because she lost someone special to a DUI but as they days go on the two of them become closer then friends. They share everything about each other and when they get into some rouble on the trip they must learn to trust each other and rely on each other.

This was an amazing book that I loved. It was like I was right there with Zander and Charlie. It reminded me of the show Survivor. I loved this book and I will be re-reading it again. Thank you to Net-Galley for allowing me to read this arc.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have to say that I am so happy with this series and the way it ended. I loved every twist and turn that happened and poor Gwen she does not know who to trust anymore. Just as she is getting used to having some normality in her life bam there is someone out there killing her enemies.

Then there is a new podcast out there dredging up the past and causing her to wonder why now is this pod cast so interested in the past and seeking out answers. Causing Gwen to be more protective of her family.

I have to say as I was reading this I was on pins and needles because just when I thought I had it figured out there was another twist. I have to say that I recommend this series to every murder mystery buff. I just couldn't get enough and I needed more and more. This is a series I will be re-reading again.

Review For Now She's Dead by Roselyn Clarke

Synopsis:

Last summer, Sara Ellis was found dead by the lake, and only Mandy knows what really happened.

This summer, she's desperate to keep it a secret.

For a few weeks every summer, Sara was Mandy's best friend. At Highmark, the lake resort where their families vacationed, the two were in a world of their own. Or at least Mandy got to be part of Sara's world.

But now Sara’s dead. The police ruled her death an accident; a tragic mistake after a night of impaired judgment. For the past year, Mandy's coped by escaping: leaving home and barely keeping it together at school. The last thing she wants to do is return to Highmark this summer—even if she does need "closure." As soon as she's back, though, she hears the whispers: someone killed Sara Ellis.

And if she’s not careful, they'll figure out it's all her fault.

As evidence resurfaces and anonymous accusations are scrawled in angry red spray paint, Mandy must confront the truths she's been avoiding about last summer. Because someone wants to make her pay for what happened to Sara that night.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book was amazing. I loved it from the very beginning right until the very end and what an ending that was. I was like oh no that person did not kill Sara. This is one of those books that hook you in and keeps  you reading late at night early morning.

Mandy and her family go on vacation every summer to this beach resort to unwind and relax. This one summer her mother introduces her to Sara and they soon become best friends and do everything together. Then one summer things change and the two of them are fighting and are angry at each other. Sara wants Mandy to act one way and Mandy is not having it. Thy go out one night and thy are drinking and having a good time when Sara starts to act mean towards everyone. Mandy has had enough anhd the two end up fighting and after the fight Mandy runs away because she hears someone out there and sees a light. It is there that Mandy hides from the other person and witnesses Sara being killed.

It is a year of ups and downs for Mandy thinking she killed Sara. She has nightmares and blames herself for Sara's death. She stops talking to her sister and barely talks to her family. Then summer is here and the family goes back to the summer resort where Sara died and her family is having a memorial for Sara. This is where things get crazy because so many people are whispering and saying things like Sara was killed by Mandy.

This is where we find out who really killed Sara and why. This is a must read mystery book. Thank you Net-Galley for allowing me to read an ARC copy of this book.
