Can I say that Laramie Briscoe has done it again! I read her Moonshine Task Force series and this is the spin off to that series and oh what a BANG it started out with. I mean I started writing this review a few times and had to delete most of it because it was full of spoilers. I just couldn't think about what to write because this story blew my mind like the MTF did.
Ransom Thompson is the man that works hard and does what he can for his friends and his team. He loves his dog Rambo being the only K-9 handler in the team sometimes has its ups and down but Ransom wouldn't change it for the world. Besides loving his job and family and friends he is in love with Stella Kepler. Only thing is Ransom works with Stella's father and does not want to ruin his career or friendship with her dad so he keeps his distance.
One day on the job he gets the call that changes his life forever because Stella is being held captive by a crazy gun man and he must do whatever it takes to rescue her and get her back to safety. So he does what he does best and goes head in to the situation and saves Stella and the man.
Stella grateful that her father and his team comes to save her especially Ransom and Rambo she decides she will ask Ransom over for dinner to thank him. Only when they are talking and having dinner they find that they have a lot in common and that they both like each other. The only thing is will it change anything for them if they get together?
Ransom and Stella's story is one of love, loyalty, and friendship. This is a must read series just like the MTF series! Go out and one click it you won't be disappointed!

This is the first book in The Moonshine Task Force Series and it started with a BANG! Laramie has outdone herself with this story. I loved every minute of it and could not get enough. When I got to the last page I was swiping my Kindle looking for more wanting more because this couple is so off the hook I needed more.
Renegade is your super Alpha male that knows what he wants and goes for it. He does not let anything or anyone get in his way. He is loving his job but wants more out of life. He is looking for a woman to settle down with and raise a family. He knows who that woman is and he goes after her and after one of pure bliss he knows he wants more he wants her every night no matter what. Only there is a slight problem she is his best friends sister and older than he is. So he is wondering if she will give him a chance.
Whitney is a strong woman who has been through a rough relationship and wants nothing more than to pick up the pieces and run her business to the best of her ability making it the top Wedding Planning business in the south. This is the second book in The Moonshine Task Force series and can I just say DAMN!!!!!!!! This is an amazing story that had me on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what was going to happen next.
Tank is recovering from his car accident and he has time to think about everything that has happened to him. He knows that his recovery is going to be a long road and he is worried where he stands with the task force and Blaze. He knows he made a big mistake with Blaze but he wants another chance with her and he is willing to do anything to get her back and keep her. She is his world and he wants nothing more than to spend his life with Blaze.
Blaze is a beautiful and strong woman. She also is a no holds bar kind of woman with a smart mouth. She knows what she wants and she goes after it. She loves her EMT job and she also knows she loves Tank. With Tank hurt and needing help she goes to help him out. When she gets there she lets Tank know that she is there for him but he will have to work at their relationship because relationships are a two way street. He is going to have to give a little to get a little and this time it is for keeps because Blaze is not playing around with him and she will walk away and leave the one she loves in order to be respected and treated as an equal.

HOLY HADES ACE IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!! OMG this series is so incredible. With each book in the series things get better and better and the characters become family to me. I feel like I am right there with the characters seeing things first hand and feeling every emotion they are feeling.
Ace is the man. I love him so much. He is so loving and caring and protective. He loves being in the task force and he loves helping people out. So when he walks in the cafe and sees the new waitress he knows she is not happy. He can read it in her expression and his gut tells him something is wrong with her and he always follows his gut. So he does what any good guy does and finds out what is wrong and arrests her husband.
Violet is living her life scared to death of her husband who is abusive and controlling. She never knew that meeting Ace was going to change her life but it does. Violet is finally free from all the control and abuse and she is learning to live her life free from fear. As she starts to spend time with Ace she realizes that not all men are abusive and controlling. She and Ace hang out and she does things she never could do with her ex-husband. The more time they spend together the closer they get and one day Ace kisses her and everything between them changes. Can these two find their HEA together?

My My My I EFFING LOVED this book! This book by far is my favorite one. I love Mason and Caleb, the father son duo is amazing. First hats off to Mason for raising Caleb by himself and doing a great job. Yes Caleb gets into some trouble but for the most part he is a great kid. But Caleb loves his father and wants him to be happy so he convinces him to join a dating app and at first Mason is not so sure he should be doing it but then he decides to join and finds that he has a lot of request from women seeking daddies so Mason ignores all those date requests. Then he is intrigued by one request and when he answers it he goes out on a date with her and they have fun. Mason has never had so much fun but before you know it the night has ended.
Karina is a high school English teacher and she loves her job but she hates when her students fathers come in and try to get her to go to bed with them. Then she has a parent conference with Caleb's dad when in walks her date that she had a wild time with and she knows right then and there that she wants Mason and is willing to do anything for him and Caleb. As trouble comes knocking on Mason and Caleb's door Karina is there to show that person that she is not going anywhere and she is going to fight for Mason and Caleb.

OH MY GOD what an effing AMAZING ending to this series. I have loved watching Caleb grew up and go through his own ups and down and trying to find his place in this world. He loves his father and looks up to him and wants to be in the task force just like his father. So when he joins he is the youngest member and the guys don't take him to serious but he makes sure to prove himself to them. Then one morning things go awry threatening everyone in the town especially the woman he loves.
Ruby Carson loves Caleb they started off as friends and then became more. Caleb saved her from the date from hell and ever since they have been inseparable. Their relationship is not picture perfect because Ruby worries about Caleb's job. Ruby knows Caleb could be in dangerous situations and when one arises Ruby and Caleb will fight for their families and friends. They will do whatever it takes to protect the ones they love but what if there is no help for this situation and Caleb is seriously hurt or even killed. Can Caleb make it out alive? Can the team make it out alive? This is an epic conclusion to The Moonshine Task Force and I am going to miss the guys and their families.
