I have to say that this is the first book I have read by Jeanne and it won't be the last. I loved this story right from the start. Shade has had a hard life and I cried for his childhood. No child should go through that. He got his name Shade from the club because he keeps to himself and does what he has to do. 

Then he meets Chelle and all bets are off. He falls for her but doesn't think he deserves her. So he takes it slow and the more they spend time together the more they get closer.

This is a must read series that I am going to read. You should read this series because it is kick arse!
