My Review
5 of 5 Rule And Shaw
Rule....... Rule....... Rule.......
HOLY F^&*%$# RULE!!!!!!!
Where to begin this review..... OMG can I just say that Jay Crownover you are a force to be reckon with when it comes to writing some swoon worthy men. I mean you put the mack down for these guys. Yes they are hot and yes they are swoon worthy but they also have that element I love in a man and that is that they are flawed and they are not ashamed to show it. They do what they do and they don't regret it or look back and say they should not have done it. I have to say that when I started reading Rule I was yelling at the Kindle because it was plain to see that Rule was loved even if he did not feel that way. It is understandable because Rule lost his twin brother Remy and has never gotten over it. He blames himself everyday for what happened to Remy and he lives his life fast and free.
Rule lives by a set of Rules he does not date only casual hook ups and he stays as far away from his family as he can except for Sundays when Shaw comes and picks him up for Sunday family dinner. The dinners are always awkward but Shaw is determined not to lose Rule and have his family lose another son. See Shaw and Remy where best friends and Rule and everyone else always thought that they dated but Remy and Shaw where just best friends because Shaw has LOVED Rule ever since Remy brought her home and she laid eyes on him. But Rule has always been a bad boy and got into trouble and definitely did not like girls who were awkward like Shaw was growing up.
But now Shaw is older and beautiful and Rule knows she is way out of his league or is she? Shaw has seen a lot from Rule. Every Sunday she watches all the trollops do the walk of shame when she goes in Rule's room to get him up and ready for Sunday Family Brunch. But on one particular day when Rules older brother Rome comes home from the army because he is hurt Shaw has had enough and decides she is going to stay away from Rule because he will never care for her the way she cares for him. She will always love him but from afar. But as circumstances would have it Rule can't seem to get Shaw out of his mind and he does everything to see her and protect her from her douche ex-boyfriend.
Will Rule finally break down his walls and let Shaw in? Will Shaw wait for Rule to be ready? This is such a push and pull story that I loved every minute of it. Rule is so delicious it is not even funny. He is rude, sassy, just down right crass with his tattooed self that he just oozes sex but will that be enough for Shaw?

My Review
5 of 5 Jet And Ayden
Jet.... Jet... Jet is a hot a$ mess! Oh man after reading Rule I have to say that I was hooked on theses characters. Rule had me by the seat of my pants and Jet oh man that swoon worthy rock n roll tattooed bad boy had my heart just like Rule, Rowdy, Ash, and Rome. Jay knows how to write and draw you in and keep you there. This is a story about learning to love despite what you have gone through. I have to say that I was thoroughly pleased by this series so far and I need more.
Jet is a rock star. He can sing his a$ off and he and his band have a sweet thing going for them. He is tattooed from head to toe and he has piercings every where. He does not believe in relationships so he does the one night stand hook up. He chews and screws in the morning leaving the girls to do the walk of shame. He has his best buds he hangs with and life is sweet or so you think. Jet is good at keeping his secrets and his past hurts that haunt him everyday.
Then he meets Ayden. She is total opposite of him and he knows it but dam if he can stay away from her. Then they end up room mates because the girl he was living with kick his a$ to the curb. The only difference is that Jet continues to live his life like no one's business. He still does his one night stands and rocks out with the band. But he is secretly holding a torch for Ayden. He knows she wants him but he knows he is not good enough for her. She deserves someone better in his eyes. But as the two get closer and Ayden starts dating Adam Jet gets pissed and that is where the story starts to pop off.
Man oh man I love my tattooed rocker with all his bad a$ness! Jet will have to decide is it worth it to risk his heart like Rule did? Is Ayden the girl for him? Will they be able to be together and happy? Will Ayden let her walls down long enough to let Jet in?
This is a must read series! Start with my man man bad a%% Rule and Shaw's Story and continue on with Jet and Ayden.
About the Author:
Jay Crownover is the best-selling author of Rule. Like the characters in her Marked Men series, she is a big fan of tattoos. She loves music and wishes she could be a rock star, but since she has no aptitude for singing or instrument playing, she'll settle for writing stories with interesting characters and that make the reader feel something. She lives in Colorado with her three dogs.
