Synopsis:
One year ago on a mission gone wrong, Tanner James failed to save the life of Jesse, his Army Ranger teammate. Before dying in that South American jungle, Jesse extracted a promise that won’t let Tanner rest until it’s fulfilled—no matter what it costs him.
Damon Price loved Jesse, but problems in their relationship had come to a head right before Jesse left on his final mission. Now a reluctant Dom and a man still in mourning, he’s not happy when Tanner appears at his BDSM club. And even less happy with Jesse’s last request—that Tanner sub for him for one night.
After a rough start, Damon realizes that the tough soldier, despite his protests, aches for someone to take control. And Tanner senses a hesitance, an insecurity in Damon that makes him wonder if he’s simply a placeholder for Jesse, or if their tentative connection could grow into something more.
For Jesse’s sake, they agree to try one weekend together. Then duty calls, and a series of attacks that have been happening near the club hits too close to home, making both men wonder if giving their hearts is a maneuver fraught with too much risk…

5 of 5 Tanner & Damon
First I want to say that this is the first book I have read by S.E. Jakes and it will not be the last. Holy cow does she know how to write a story with some hot alpha men from the military!
In Bound by Honor we meet Tanner James who is home from his latest mission with his own personal mission in mind. For Tanner on his last mission he lost a close member of his team Jesse. Tanner held Jesse while he died and Jesse made Tanner promise him something and Tanner told him he would. The thing is that Tanner promised Jesse he would follow through with his wishes and Tanner has never backed down from a promise.
So Tanner goes out to find Damon Jesse's boyfriend and what he finds is a broken and battered man full of anger and rage. When Tanner goes to the BDSM club to find Damon Jesse's boyfriend he is greeted with anger and once he tells Damon what Jesse's dying promise was Damon says straight out hell no! He tells Tanner that no matter what Jesse wanted he is not going to fulfill his dying wishes. Tanner not really wanting to deal with Damon and his attitude goes to leave the club but is called back by Damon and what Damon does to Tanner both pisses him off and scares him because it ignites something in him.
After leaving the club Tanner can't stop thinking about Damon and what happened just to him. While Damon is getting reamed out by Law for his behavior Damon admits he is intrigued by Tanner but does not want to get his heart broken again. But the more Tanner and Damon try to stay away from each other the more the seem to need each other. While all this is going on someone is hurting the guys from the club and Law does not want to burden Damon with what is going on but soon someone is attacked and Law has to tell Damon what is going on because the attacks are familiar to both men and they think they know who is behind it but could it be that person or is their minds playing tricks on them? Will Damon open his heart up to Tanner? Will Tanner let Damon in after Damon was so cruel to him?

5 of 5 Glen & Derek
Tie that Bind is another Men of Honor books that totally blew me away! I mean holy hell S.E. knows how to write about her Alpha Military men who are battered and bruised and war torn and just need a little love. I cried when I read this one because Glen stole the show along with Derek because two broken and battered Alphas were just drifting along not really looking for anything or anyone until they found each other.
Glen Rhodes is a Helo Chopper Pilot and he loves his job. He loves the adrenaline rush he gets when he is flying his chopper helping his team mates to safety. But Glen is sad inside because he had a Dom John but he died and now Glen is left alone and feeling sad. He has tried several times to get a new Dom but it never works out because he gets nervous and can't seem to get comfortable with anyone. Then one day he enters the bar John owned and he meets Derek Mann.
Derek is retired military and is a Dom. He had a sub but lost him and he decided he was better off by himself because the pain is still raw and rough for him. But when he sees Glenn their is something inside his heart that breaks the walls down and he has got to know Glenn. He has to find out why his eyes look so sad and why he always looks like a coiled snake ready to attack.
As Derek and Glenn get to know each other they find that sometimes the ties you share could bind to be so much more!

Worry for his cousin’s involvement in the Killers drove Navy SEAL Jace Reynolds to agree to infiltrate the gang to do some short-term surveillance for the FBI. The deal: do the job, and his cousin gets witness protection. When he meets Tomcat, though, his fantasies kick into overdrive. Meeting men while on active duty is tough. Acting on his desires within the club could have deadly consequences.
Despite the risks, Tomcat’s and Jace’s off hours flare hotter than a full-throttle burnout. But the smoke is bound to attract unwanted attention. And when Tomcat suddenly disappears, the secrets both warriors keep could send one of them to the grave.
Product Warnings: Contains two hot men undercover—and under the covers. Both with secrets under wraps that could cause everything to unravel in the deadliest way imaginable. If you’re inspired to try something new on a motorcycle, go for it. Just don’t blame the author for any pulled muscles.

5 of 5 Prophet & Tommy
Long Time Gone is the second book in the Hell or High Water Series and I have to say HOLY EFF S.E. has done it again and Lordy Lordy Prophet is the man. He is so moody and unpredictable that he had me all over the emotions map because one minute he was okay and the next he wasn't because he would shut his feelings off and become hard and distant.
Prophet and Tom are no longer partners. Prophet knew he could not have a partner and after Tom got hurt he definitely knew he needed to stay far away from Tom. Tom decided not to push Prophet any more so he took another partner and is far away from prophet when things start to go south for them. Prophet makes some decisions that are hard but he makes them none the less and decides he is going to go off on his own and do his own work.
But New Orleans is getting hit with the worst hurricane to ever hit Katrina. Tom has an aunt there and Prophet decides to go and make sure she is okay because she is alone and Tom is out of the country on work for the EE LTD. As Prophet flies down there and gets Tom's aunt prepared for the hurricane Tom hears some noise outside and realizes he sees someone. When he goes out he sees that it is Tom. Tom has come home to be with the only family he has to make sure she is okay.
As Tom and Prophet prepare for the hurricane to pass they talk and realize they have some unfinished business. As they are talking and watching the hurricane come to an end they decide to go out and check on the neighbors when Tom discovers his neighbor has been murdered and he becomes the number one suspect. As Prophet tries to help Tom solve the murder and clear his name Prophet gets some crazy news from Cillian and Prophets past is coming back to haunt him. Prophet unable to believe what he is told tries to get Tom to safety and figure out where to go next and what to do next. Could it true the information he was given or is it a sick joke????

5 of 5 Blue & Mick
I love a love story that is not conventional and all instant love at first sight. I love when you have this knock down drag out fight between two people. The real rough and rawness Blue and Mick have totally blew me away.
Blue is taking care of his sister because she is all he has and no one is going to help her out. So Blue does what he has to do to take care of her and what he does he is very good at. Blue has learned from the very best to be a thief. He steals things that are treasured and he is good at what he does and he makes enough money to care for his sister and take care of himself. But on one job unbeknownst to Blue he is being followed by Mick who is a CIA agent. Blue gives him the slip and they play this cat and mouse game until they find out that someone has been playing them all along.
It is apparent to Blue and Mick that there is something there between them but they are not sure whether they should act on it or not because Blue knows deep down he will do whatever it takes to care for his sister and if it means stealing till he can't steal anymore then so be it. Mick on the other hand wants Blue but he knows Blue is in trouble and before you know it Blue is caught up in something and someone is looking for him and wants him dead.
Mick is determined to save Blue and protect him at all costs but what will it cost them both? Can they be together or will they have to walk away from each other???????????
