4 of 5 Love of a Rockstar
Love of a Rockstar is one of those stories that will stay with you long after you read it. I love when a book draws you in and leaves you wondering what is going on. I needed more at the end though because I felt like I did not get closure almost like there may be a follow up book to this one but I am not sure. I will start stalking so I can find out.
Marlene Parker has it all. She has the love of her life and soul mate Luke Anderson by her side. They love each other and Luke is doing his thing with music and loving life. Then they add to their happiness because Marlene finds out she is pregnant and Luke is happy that his family is going to get bigger.
Then Luke gets the offer of a life time and he goes on tour and never comes back for Marlene or their child. Heart broken Marlene is determined to pick herself up and dust off the pain and hurt and move away to another country to start a new life with her daughter and forget about Luke. The only problem with that is a few days before she is to leave she runs into Luke and he is determined more than ever to be with Marlene again. He realizes he loves his family and wants to make it work.
Yes Luke has the life women, booze, and all the fame but that doesn't keep him warm at night and take away his loneliness. But Luke knows he will have to fight like hell to get Marlene and his daughter back because he messed up and she has closed her heart to him and everyone associated with him. Can Luke do it and win her back? Or will Marlene say two tears in a bucket fuck it and walk away????????????
