Synopsis:
I only wanted a cup of coffee. Alone.
It was a simple request, right? Just stroll into the coffee shop on the corner, grab my usual cup of liquid nitrogen, and walk back out.
All while minding my own business.
But I had to walk in at that exact moment. Not ten minutes earlier. Not ten minutes later. Precisely when Savannah Fields needed someone to help her. When no one except me had the courage to stand up for her.
After the incident, she looked at me like I was her hero.
But I’m no hero.
I don’t even know who or what I am anymore.
Who is Nick Tucker? A DEA agent? A criminal? Both? Neither?
The lines I crossed while undercover blurred my staunch sense of morality.
Then the auburn-haired beauty showed up at my apartment, begging for my help. I couldn’t turn her away.
The more I lost myself in her, the more I found myself again.
Or so I thought.
Even a broken clock gets to be right twice a day.
There's a fine line between right and wrong, love and hate, heaven and hell.

My Review:
💖💖💖💖💖
This is one amazing story that had me on pins and needles because I just had to know what Savannah and Nick were going to do and what they were going to go through. Nick is the ALPHA male that every woman wants and needs in their life and Savannah poor Savannah she is a nurse and just wants to help people out but she gets in a bad relationship and the man just won't leave her alone.
All Nick wanted was a cup of coffee and to be alone. He has been undercover for a while and he is tired of the life he had to live. So he just wants a cup of coffee but when he walks into the shop he sees a woman getting harassed and no one is doing a damn thing to stop the guy bothering the woman. SO Nick being the protector he is steps in and saves her.
Then a few days later Savannah tracks him down and asks for his help. He can't refuse her and decides to help but he never knew what he was getting into because now his heart is on the line and he isn't sure what he will do about that.
