I love me some mafia stories and this series is starting off with a bang! I love Gavino so much. He is a man with many scars and he hates the person who he got them for. This is where the story starts to kick off because Gavino is to protect Sky and he hates her. He wants to kill her for what he has endured but instead he is appointed with the task of protecting her.
Sky is clueless as to why Gavino hates her and she wants to know why.
I loved this novella and I need more. I need more Gavino because when he loves he loves hard but when he hates he hates harder!
