My Review:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
First I want to say that this book is effed up! I mean totally effed up with some serious asre TRIGGERS!!!!!!! I know it is a dark romance but this goes way beyond that. I mean I almost stopped reading it a few times. Micaden was a total douche without taking the time to know the truth of what really happened to him and why it happened to him. I understand he went to prison for something he didn't do but to take all his rage and anger out on someone who had no clue what was going on is wrong just plain and simple wrong. This book had me so pissed off at times I just couldn't think straight but then V.F. would throw in some sweet things and it made me keep reading because I needed to see what was going to happen next.

Emerald poor Emerald she has no idea what has happened to her but she knows that something happened. She knows she feels something for Micaden and she loves being intimate with him even though he is rough and sometimes brutal. She still cares for him. While she is working out her memory she has flashbacks that could be very dangerous for her and Micaden.

This is an effed up read but one that grabs you and keeps you reading until the end because you need to know what happens to Emerald and Micaden.

Author Bio:
V.F. Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
