Inspired by a True Story.
People are brought into our lives for many reasons. Over time, we find out who is meant to be a temporary acquaintance and who will be there for a lifetime.
Easton Crawford put his modeling career before his marriage until it was ending in divorce. Years later, he is finally learning how to be the father his daughter needs him to be. He’s not looking for someone to step into the mother role—just nightly casual hook-ups.
When his best friend convinces him that a good way to meet single women is to go on a singles cruise, he finds more than just a one night stand.
At age thirteen, Brooke Bradley became an adult, raising her younger sister while her mother continually ignored her parenting responsibilities. Since then, Brooke has continued to take care of the people in her life, including her deadbeat boyfriend, Jared.
For Brooke’s thirtieth birthday, her best friend surprises her with a cruise but fails to mention it’s a singles cruise. When Brooke meets Easton, the one man willing to be her constant, will she finally find the courage to leave Jared?
Easton knows that Brooke is someone who is meant to be in his life forever, but when a health scare threatens to change everything, Brooke and Easton are faced with unanswered questions and unspoken fears. Are Brooke and Easton only meant to be temporary acquaintances or are they brought into each other lives for a lifetime?

💛💛💛💛💛
First I have to say is that I am kicking myself in the arse for not finding this series in 2014 because OMG it is absolutely amazing, phenomenal and so much more that I really don't have words to express it.
This is a story about a single father enjoying his life as a single man having one night stands and not worrying about going home to a woman just his daughter. Easton at first I thought was a total arse because of how he acted but as the story goes on he won my heart over and I started to love him and see his good qualities as a father and a lover.
Then we meet Brooke who is a care giver always taking care of others and not ever saying no. She takes care of her younger sister because her mother wants to run around and not be a parent so Brooke steps up at a young age and takes care of her sister. She is also taking care of her good for nothing boyfriend who does absolutely nothing. I mean he is the most laziest man I know of and man he can't do crap for himself so Brooke is like his mother instead of his girlfriend.
These two meet on a singles cruise and boy oh boy when they meet chemistry is flying everywhere. The only thing is Brooke is not single and her friend that sent her on this cruise never told her this was a singles cruise. So when Brooke feels the chemistry with Easton she lets him know that she is not single. The two of them have fun on the cruise and when they get back Brooke breaks things off with her boyfriend and gets with Easton.
This is a story of two people not looking for love but finding it in the least place they expected to find it.

I have to say that this book really did a number on my heart and brain! I went from laughing to crying to screaming at my kindle like a crazy woman. I mean some people they just don't get it. When love is there it will stay there as long as you accept it. If you push someone away then don't expect for them to want to stay.
Avery oh Avery is the love of my life. He is such a sweetheart because he believes in love and not just love but true love. He is looking for it but he keeps meeting these terrible women who are either taken or are just plain out crazy! It is then that he decides to go on a singles cruise and that cruise is going to change his life forever.
On the cruise Avery meets his one true love Nicole. They spend the whole time together not wanting to be separate from each other because they know at the end of the cruise they are going to be going back to their lives that they have and they don't want that. At the end of the cruise and they go on their own ways they decide to try a long distance relationship. Nicole is tired of being away from her one true love and decides to move to New York where Avery is and spend the rest of her life with him.
Things are going great till one day they get some bad news and Nicole acts like a total biatch towards Avery and he is left wondering what he has done. He loves Nicole and wants to be with her but she pushes him away and then expects him to come running back one she has her hair across her arse out.
This one was really emotional for me for so many reasons but this is a must must read series for everyone who loves romances and second chance romances.
