OMG WTF DID I JUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG....... OMG........ OMG......... I just don't have words to express how I feel after reading this book. I mean I was in awe and I loved LOVED every minute that Brando spent with his wife Scarlett. Yes they are married and living the dream. Brando spoils Scarlett like no ones business and I love how he takes care of her needs and her wants. Brando is always thinking about Scarlett and what she wants.
He has a love for her like no other I have ever seen but his secret is about to come out and Scarlett being Scarlett finds out that Brando has been keeping a secret and when the truth comes out the family comes after Brando trying to use Scarlett to get to him and there is no way in hell he is going to allow that. The family tries to use Scarlett as a pawn to get Brando to come back in the family fold and be like his father. But there is no way in hell Brando is going to do that. They should have never under estimated a man determined and in love! Oh Lord I need part four like right now!
Born and raised in New Orleans, Annie has a habit of shortening her words and telling long stories. She speaks with a southern flair and cooks with it too. At the tender age of twenty- one, she hitched up her wagons (took her first plane ride) and moved out west to the big shake (California). Her passion for writing began one sleepless night when she imagined a gorgeous woman and a man with maniacal hair floating above her like lightning bugs falling from the sky. Curious about them, their story, and why they were floating around in her head, she sat down and penned (typed) her first novel, Marigny Street. A dream come true for her, she hasn’t stopped writing since. She loves a damn good love story, always has, no matter what the genre. She is particularly moved by imperfect love that in its own unique way is perfect, the notion of love at first sight, soul mates, and things that are generally out of the norm.
When she’s not writing she enjoys dabbling in photography and finding new, inspirational music to add to her collection. She currently resides in Texas (where everything really is bigger) with her husband, daughter, and their three peculiar dogs, Boudreaux, Tabasco, and Vanna Loo (who, call her crazy, bark with an accent).

This is an amazing beginning to this 7 part series and I have to say that Annie knocked it out the park with this one. I don't want to say to much because I don't want to ruin the story for the readers but I have to say that this is an amazing mafia story that will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.
When Scarlett looks into the night she sees this gorgeous angel Brando and knows he is the one for her. As the two meet and start a friendship it blossoms into something so much more and their chemistry is off the chain and they are like a lock and key two sides of a coin and everything else.
As their relationship grows Scarlett is willing to give her all for him. To lay down her life for him and no matter what happens she is going to be there for him. The ending man that ending had me wanting and needing more because I was not ready to let go of Scarlett and Brando. I can't wait for part two. Kudos to you Annie for making me fall in love with Brando and adding him to my top list of book boyfriends because he does not disappoint.

OMG I have to say I felt like I waited a long time for this second part but it really wasn't long at all and I told everyone that I was going into my reading hole not to disturb me because my book boyfriend was calling me yes Brando was calling me and I needed to find out what was going on with Scarlett because I knew she was going to be having fun in Paris I mean who wouldn't but I also knew she would be missing Brando and wanting to see him and be near him but she knew he wanted her to have her career and do her passion and have her fun.
Brando still hasn't told Scarlett who his family is but I am starting to think that his family is a very powerful one and he is going to be that legacy and he better get to telling Scarlett soon because I don't want her to find out from others who think that meddling is the way to go but I think Brando is going to tell her real soon. He has sacrificed so much to be with Scarlett that he is willing to give her the world and take out the world if they try and hurt her. I need part three because that ending had me like oh hell no you are stopping here.
