My..... My.... My..... is what I said after I finished this book. I love a good alpha male read but I also love a good MC book that has me flipping through pages so fast my head is spinning. This book had both in it and I loved every moment of it.
Jax is retired from the Marines and is living up on the mountains in his house. He loves it because it is nice and quiet. He works at the bar and enjoys his days. That is until a beautiful girl comes into the bar to eat and he is smitten right from the moment he sees her. But he knows he is to old and damage to go after her so he flirts with her and remains friendly with her.
Ruby is in college and she wants to visit her grandmother who lives up in the mountains. So one day she goes up the mountain and gets hungry so she stops at the bar to eat where she sees Jax and is taken by him right away. But Jax keeps things cool and she thinks she has no chance at him until a biker approaches her and tells her she is hers and she says no. The biker will not take no for an answer so he starts to harass her and Jax comes to her rescue.
The two of them spend time together while hiding from the MC and soon sparks fly and they can't deny what they both feel for each other. But can they have a relationship or are they doomed from the start? Will the MC find them and take Ruby from Jax?
